Your body wants to correct itself

What most people don’t know is that the body wants to correct itself; it just needs the opportunity. (You can’t also actually see your body correct itself in real time - join our free 5Day Mobility Challenge starting 1/11 and see for yourself! Sign up here)

Mobility can give you near immediate, realtime results on just how your body wants to fix itself.

Your body naturally tries to heal itself and stay balanced all the time. When you get hurt or stressed, your muscles tighten up to protect the injured area. This tightening is a good, quick fix.

We all carry imbalances; it’s completely normal. They can come from daily habits like leaning on one leg while cooking, genetics, or activities that favor one side, anything as holding a child, playing tennis, or playing guitar.

Problems start when those imbalances grow or stay around too long. If one side of your body gets underused and weaker; the other tightens to keep you stable. Over time, that compensation creates stiffness, and stiffness can turn into pain or injury. If your body stays stuck in that protective tension long after it's needed, it forces other muscles to work too hard or move wrong, which is what causes stiffness, pain, and limited movement.

Your body isn't trying to hurt you; it's just stuck in an old solution.

With the right movements and exercises, you can "remind" your body to let go of the old tension and return to normal. By giving it the right signals through targeted mobility, corrective movement and resistance exercise (esp in motion), you allow it to release that old tension and find its optimal balance again.

Join us 1/11 for a free 5 day mobility challenge. From foundations that build to movement that you flow (& so you know it’s ‘right’), you’ll not only show yourself your body’s ability to change in real time but begin building resilience in the movements we want for longevity. Sign up here.
